Max Patch. The top of the world, the place where the mountains meet the sky, the clouds meet the trees. A 30 minute bumpy gravel road takes you up to this beautiful place and sometimes, you're not so sure you took the right turn but you just have to stick to your guts, keep clinging on to the handle and trust. Once you have made it, you will be rewarded with the most breathtaking views of rows and rows and rows of mountains that melt into the horizon and become one with the sky. Life is simple up here and that's exactly why Kim and Eddie chose to get married here.
Away from any and all distractions (we had absolutely no service at any time), these two could focus solely on each other and their love. A beautiful kind of love, light as a feather, full of laughter and the feeling of home. And witnessed only by a few people, the mountains and the wide open skies, they became husband and wife.
Kim & Eddie, I feel so honored that you chose me to be there and capture this romantic and funny and relaxed and wild (mountain tops and veils do NOT like each other) and perfect afternoon for you! I wish you a lifetime full of laughter and happiness together. May these pictures always remind you of the love that you two share, of what truly matters in life and of the promises you made to each other surrounded by the mountains and the trees and the flowers and the wind and the sun and the clouds.
